She looked about the cottage, went for a walk outside, and read her books--she had just begun to read “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”--but nothing could help ease her guilt from the previous night. She focused very little on the words before her, and finally gave up on reading altogether and began to pace across her desk.. How could she focus on Ichabod Crane’s love affair with Katrina when she worried so about the Bat. He had seemed so sad the previous night--perhaps sadder than any night before. The Mouse and the Bat Pt2After his encounter with the Bat, the mouse quickly ran away from the cottage and the clearing, and headed back into the woods, praying he wouldn’t get lost again. But, as if by some miracle, the mouse had only wandered for an hour before he found his way out of the woods, and by nightfall he was back home at the little tool shed. The old mouse paused before going inside, wondering what he would tell his children, but before he could decide all six of them rushed out to greet him with hugs and kisses.

The Mouse and the Bat Pt1There was once an old field mouse who had six children; three sons and three daughters. The old mouse raised his children himself, as his wife had been killed by a farmer’s cat, and taught them all the important skills every mouse should know. Each of the mouse’s children grew up to be very smart and very good-looking--as far as mice go, that is--and were the envy of every mouse for miles around. But by far, the smartest and prettiest of the six mice children was the old mouse’s youngest daughter, Millie.

Blood Moon PrologueAs Lord Hezeke Bromiln, son of Lord Jafeth Bromiln, toiled up the muddy hill, sliding back a foot for every two he advanced, he could only think of one thing: his parents were going to kill him. If his parents were not the ones to end his life, however, the Elders certainly would. Either way, it was a gloomy prospect. Jaw clenched in grim determination, he made it up the slope and found himself face to face with a tall stone wall. Taking advantage of the shelter from the bitterly chilly wind, he looked down at what he carried.

3: The submissions can be of any kind you wish, comic, picture, wallpaper, stamp, avatar, prose, poetry, emoticons, anything that can be posted on DA is welcome, as long as it sticks by DeviantART's rules for submissions.
