2: all submissions must involve any type of fantasy (horror, sci-fi, fairy-tale, etc). They can also involve both canon (a work not of your own) and orginal characters.

3: The submissions can be of any kind you wish, comic, picture, wallpaper, stamp, avatar, prose, poetry, emoticons, anything that can be posted on DA is welcome, as long as it sticks by DeviantART's rules for submissions.

Okay, since I haven’t done anything to update this journal in months, I decided to hold its first contest!

The contest is simple: You must write your own fairy tale story!

Theme: Write your own fairy tale story either fantasy or sci-fi genre.

Rules:
(1) All entries must range from G to T rated.

(2) All entries must not contain any hentai or slash, nudity, profanity, and must not contain any gory depictions of violence.

(3) Your story must be created by your own imagination. If you want to write a story based on, or similar to, a certain fairy tale (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc.), please send me a note let me know.

(4) Your story can be written in a single chapter or more than three. Five is the maximum limit. If you wish to make your story written more than one chapter, let me know your note.

(5) Your story can be a love story, a comedy, a adventure thriller, whatever sparks your interest.

Prizes:
(1st place) A giftart from me of anything you want; and another art, this one will be based on a scene from your fairy tale. Both colored on the computer with a background.

(2nd place) A giftart from me and another art based on a scene from your fairy tale. Both colored on the computer without a BG.

(3rd place) A giftart from me, colored on the computer without a BG.

Details: If you wish to join, please send me a note. To send your entry, send a link to it in a note to me. I will take the time to judge each entry and decide on the winners based on originality. All your entries shall be appreciated, and favored in my journal.

Dates: The contest begins today, January 3 and ends on February 29. I will judge the entries. The winners will be announced on March 1.
